I would love to see 5 second, 10 sec, and 45 min., and 8 hr. time frames added! Can't be very difficult to incorporate.

Hello,

Thank you for the suggestion. Additional chart intervals will hopefully be added in the future. However, it is more difficult than you might expect to incorporate them because they have to implemented not only in VT Trader, but also in the web platform, mobile platforms, and charting server.

Regards,
Chris

What about the 3 minute? A number of people have seen the value in that and have been requesting it for a while.

A 3-minute chart interval has also already been requested. Thank you for your comments.

Chris

PLUS 1 FOR 8 HOUR CHARTS

the jump between 4 hour and daily is too big. an additional chart is needed for that time span and 8 hours would be most useful of analysis.

when can we expect additional time frames?

Additional chart intervals are in the development plans, but I cannot say when they'll be implemented.

Hello Chris

Reading the forum I see 3 min chart is requested since 2005, do you have a serious plan to develop this function?, can we expect it this year?
Regards
Ric

Hi Ric,

I honestly don't know when the new chart intervals will be implemented. To implement them effects several pieces of software in addition to VT Trader (including the backend chart servers) so it's a bigger undertaking than previously anticipated when I initially requested those features long ago. I have confidence that we will eventually be able to implement the new chart intervals, but I cannot say exactly when that will. I apologize.

Regards,
Chris

Ok Chris, that's a bad new, but at least, are you working on implement that interval timeframe? or is it just an idea "to develop"?.
Best regards
Ric

Hi Ric,

It's in the development database right now, but no development has started.
