Hello Chris,
I like to report some charting issues, I noticed: 1) Misalignment of a chart containing a trading system, after log out and log in. See untitled1.jpg. Clicking once on the lower horizontal split bar, realigns the chart. 2) Corruption of a chart containing a trading system, after log out and log in. See untitled3.jpg. Moving around with the cursor on and off the chart window lets the chart corruption appear and disappear. Hope this helps... Best regards, edemouser Attached thumbnail(s) |

Hello,
What version of VT Trader are you using? The first issue with the empty space below the chart should have been fixed already (unless this is a similar issue caused by a different bug). See this topic: http://forum.vtsystems.com/index.php?showtopic=9108 If you don't think that topic has any relevance to what you're experiencing please provide the exact steps required to duplicate this bug (consistently). Thank you. The weird symbol issue should be resolved in the upcoming release. Regards, Chris |

Hello Chris,
1) I am using VT 2.0.35.15.2009121200 issue appears on XP, Vista, Win7 (all x86). 2) Looks like the same error to me, maybe caused by a different bug. 3) Steps to replicate the issue: Make an environment containing a chart window with a trading system showing. Save the environment in order to conserve the layout. Log off, log in again and the misalignment appears. Makes no difference weather you are online or offline. Best regards, edemouser |

Just to add,
I face the same issue with the latest version of VT Trader. The problem almost always appear when i add comments on individual candles. It does NOT always happen. Sometimes charts loads up correctly even when there are a lot of comments added to the candles. Other times, as soon as you finished adding a comment on a candle, the trading system dots and arrows changes to "Ps, Os and Qs". I have learned to live with it but hopes the bug will be fixed in the next update. When's the next update by the way ? This P and O bug was reported some 3 months back i think. Thanks again Chris. Hello,
QUOTE 1) Misalignment of a chart containing a trading system, after log out and log in. See untitled1.jpg. Clicking once on the lower horizontal split bar, realigns the chart. Please try to duplicate this bug using the most recently released VT Trader 2.0.23.26. Thank you. QUOTE 2) Corruption of a chart containing a trading system, after log out and log in. See untitled3.jpg. Moving around with the cursor on and off the chart window lets the chart corruption appear and disappear. This should be resolved in VT Trader 2.0.23.26. Regards, Chris |

Hello,
QUOTE have been out of office the last days. I mean this one "http://forum.vtsystems.com/index.php?showtopic=10658" Thank you. I thought it might that one, but wanted to be sure since you posted in this topic vs. that other one. Unfortunately, I think in order to fix this issue we have to wait for an update to that component from one of our library vendors. Regards, Chris |

Hello Chris,
thanks for you answer, that is nice to know. The charting error shown in "untitled3.jpg" seems to be successfully fixed. What about the one shown in "untitled1.jpg". I still get that one on both of my machines, using the latest VT version. Best regards, P.S. I have been working in the software industry as a programmer and technical support for some years, and I know how hard it is to sort these "little" issues out. It is quite impressive to watch the development of the VT platform over the years. You and the whole team of people involved are doing a great job. |

Hello,
QUOTE 1) Misalignment of a chart containing a trading system, after log out and log in. See untitled1.jpg. Clicking once on the lower horizontal split bar, realigns the chart. Would you be willing to provide your desktop workspace that you're able to duplicate this issue in? I've been trying to duplicate this on my machine, but I cannot. If there's any additional specific steps you've done that always ensures this issue happens, please mention them. Thank you. Regards, Chris |
