Hi,

I've had 3 demo accounts now, and all of them seem to have had the same gearing.

How do I find out what that gearing is?

When I place an order I see this at the bottom of the order confirmation screen:

1/100,000

Is that the gearing ratio, or does it refer to something else?

That 1/100,000 you see in the order window is not the account gearing; it is the lot size (i.e. 1 lot or 100,000 units). You should contact your forex broker's account executives or sales dept. to determine what margin/leverage requirements they have.
