A feature that i would find usefull is to have the charts sync when you click on a certian currency.
E.g I have 3 chart windows and would like to view EUR/USD so i click on EUR/USD and all three charts sync to the same currecny. Then i want to view GBP/USD so i select that currency and all three charts would display the new currency.
Thanks

Hi,
I think a linked different time frame charts of a currency pair could be good improvement, so when viewing more charts at once all the work you're doing on one of the charts is reflected on all others (cursor position, study adding/deleting, drawings etc).
Best regards,
Dejan

I would like to support this suggestion as well. It would be a time saver if I didn't have to change each chart manually. Thanks in advance.

It would be great to be able to see crosshairs on all chart windows at the same time. That meens if you move the crosshair on 1min chart you can see where it is on 5min, 15min...charts. This posibility would give you very good overview of how the price behaves on different time frames. ESignal has this feature and it is really very useful for trading.
Thank you

I have linked charts in a stock trading account. It is a GREAT feature. I change the symbol on 1 chart and all three (5min, 60min & daily)update. This would be a great addition to VT-Trader.

I have come across a very useful bit of functionality in other platforms where if you have multiple windows open for one instrument but with different timeframes, the cursor is visible on all windows and reflects the same time on all charts. For example, a 4 hour and a 1 hour chart, When my cursor rolls over hours 1,2,3,4 on the 1 hour chart another cursor is visible on the 4 hour chart over the 4:00 candle. Also scrolling works on the same principle. Also, if this is possible across different instruments at the same time, that would be an interesting feature. For example, if I wanted to backtest my strategy and see what positions I would be in on two different instruments at the same time, that would be nice. Rather than scrolling each instrument separately.
Thats all i've got.
Thanks

Hello,
This is called 'linking' in some fashion or another (depending on who you're talking with). It's been suggested previously and it's likely a functionality we'll implement at some point in the future. Thank you.

Chris

I run several desktops that take advantage of the new docking feature and have several charts open at the same time.
Each with a different time period (Big-picture to shorter trend to trading timeframe)
But I can't easily change pairs as each chart has to be changes individually.
How about an option to sync all charts on a desktop to a single pair selection?
1-click (somewhere) and all 3/4/5 charts change their pairs to match.
Thanks

Hello,
This is typically referred to as "chart linking". It's a feature that will very likely be included in a future release of VT Trader.

it is better to make this possible for all panels... in Protrader this fucntion called "link", you can link all the panels to make them show data related to the single instrument, if you change one - all chges automaticly...
