I noticed that this is a program that does not seem to have any keyboard shortcuts anywhere (Alt-F, Alt-W, etc,). Very strange. I would like to develop some macros to repeat some common actions but I have no keyboard means of doing this.

Hello,

VTtrader does not currently support keyboard shortcuts. However, I will submit a feature request to provide functionality for the user to setup and define their own "hotkeys" and actions. Any comments?

Regards,
Chris

Vtrader is one of the first "Windows" programs I have seen that totally ignore this pretty standard Windows feature. I have no way of creating macros other than using a screen/pointer-driven macro, which relys on exact positions of screens, which is a pain to rely on. I load trading systems, and would like to develop macros to do this automatically, or a macro to edit a trading system, or indicator, or broinmg a certain chart to the front instead of hunting for it etc., etc.

It is strange, that even new version 2.0 does support any keyboard shortcuts.

I'm a newbie trader, but am a seasoned programmer *beep* analyst; l found many a shortcomings in the VTtrader 2.0, though it comparatively is a good terminal. I shall soon compose/compile a feature-request list and submit the same, provided you promise to be prompt enough to take an action.

Hello,

Please be sure to thoroughly search through the "Suggestions and Feedback" forum before submitting new feature requests. There's already been lots of suggestions put forth, many of which (along with many, many more not listed in these forums) are already in our development database for future potential development.

Regards,
Chris
