Full Version: Trade Order Not Indicated/showing In Vt Trader
Visual Trading Systems User Forums > VTTRADER DISCUSSION > BUGS AND PROBLEMS

Initially I was able to place trade orders and see indications of the trade orders in VT Trader (I could see both the graphic display indicators and Pending orders listing). Then I removed the pending trade orders (because they were not properly placed).

Subsequently, I accessed my Profile at demo.efxnow.com (with FireFox), then I proceed to log out, and I got an apparently "frozen" - "Logging Out" screen (I switch my default browser to IE and that particular "frozen" screen issue with the web-based account SEEMS fixed).

However, the issue with VT Trader then appear from late in the night of the 10th. November 2011 or early in the 11th. November 2011, I can no longer see indication of trade orders I place with VT Trader.

NO error message. But after I click the OK button at the trade order confirmation window, there is NO indication of the trade order in VT Trader. I reinstalled VT Trader (but keeping my user data) but the issue persists - Though I can enter a trade order and then click the OK button at the order confirmation window (and with No error message popping up), it then SEEMS like nothing happens as there is NO indication of the trade order in VT Trade.

Please help (explain what I should do to solve this issue).

Thank you for reading and for your time.

Hello,

Are you logged into any other Forex.com trading platform (web-based, mobile, or desktop versions) at the same time as being logged into VT Trader? Are there any messages displaying in VT Trader's "Trading Activity" window when you submit your orders? Also, what type of Internet connection are you using? Is it a stable connection or do you experience intermittent or sometimes slow connectivity issues?

You might try downloading a fresh copy of VT Trader and installing it as a PORTABLE installation for testing purposes. This will create an isolated install of VT Trader in a "VT Trader" folder on your Windows desktop. You'll need to open the new VT Trader folder and double-click the Trader.exe file to start the portable VT Trader installation. Be sure that you are not logged into your other VT Trader install at the same time. Try placing some orders and trades in your practice account using this new portable installation and see if the problem persists.

Regards,
Chris
