One of the most difficult things about developing a Trading System is figuring what your system is doing on a bar to bar basis. It would be really helpful if the TS tool would allow you to step through the system one bar at a time, and allow you to examine the state of your variables.

you can actually do that already.

Someone here had suggested to simply list your variables in the Output and click them for Indicator Output. You then can see the value in the Inspection Window, when you move with your cursor from candle to candle.

This has worked very well for me, and there is no way I could have done my debugging without it.

Thanks Christoph, for that advice. I do that for some things, but the list can get rather lengthy. And actually at the present time I am experiencing an anamaly where the Inspection window results are not lining up correctly in the chart. Anyhow, excellent suggestion and one I will take advantage of.
