Release Notes for VTtrader Version 1.2.0 - 2004120300
These release notes provide information on the latest modifications, improvements and new features that were made for this release of VT’s industry leading online trading software, VTtrader 1.2.0
Improvements
Multilingual support
Default Chinese settings issue resolved: Chinese settings now function properly. Default settings were added for CHT, CHS and KOR language packs.
Chinese language in login window issue resolved: The problem with restoring Chinese languages in the login window has been fixed. You can select Chinese localizations from the "Language" menu during login.
Charting
Double candles issue resolved: The issue that some clients have been reporting, with two identical bars appearing on the chart, has been successfully resolved.
Trading Systems/Indicators
Trading Systems and Indicators corrected and updated: As usual Trading Systems and Indicator language, formulas and algorithms have been updated and improved. Please refer to our Forum for more details on these changes.
New Features
Software support
Activity log submission: It is now possible to submit activity log through VTtrader directly to your brokerage. To submit the activity log, open the VTtrader application, select "Tools" from the "VT Navigator" window, then select "Activity log upload". Select the date of the log you want to submit and enter the ticket ID number (if applicable). Press "Upload". You can also upload your log in offline mode, but in that case make sure you enter the correct username in the "Trader login" field.
Charting
Volume indicator support added: From now on, along with the usual H,L,O,C values each bar on the chart will also contain a V (Volume) value. It will also be possible to view this value in the inspect window and in the status bar of the chart. New volume based indicators and functions have also been included in this release.
Vertical +/- Zoom and AutoSize Vertically Buttons added to Chart Window Scroll Panel
"Fibonacci Fan" tool added: This tool is used to draw a fan of angled lines that are probable values of support and resistance based on an underlying trendline. You can select this tool from the "VT Navigator" window or from the "Select tool" menu on the chart. You can adjust tool properties, such as the percentage values used and the colours of the Fibonacci Fan lines by right-clicking on the object and selecting "Properties".
